Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing financial risk assessment and management in numerous ways, including more accurate forecasts, improved decision-making, and enhanced operational efficiency. how AI will alter the way the dynamic financial sector approaches risk management, assessment, and mitigation. Artificial intelligence (AI) uses strong machine learning algorithms, big data analytics, and natural language processing to enhance the ability to detect fraudulent activities, optimize portfolio management procedures, predict new threats, and assess creditworthiness. integrating AI into frameworks for managing financial risk, including liquidity risk, market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, among others [1]. The report discusses the requirements for legal frameworks, data privacy concerns, and algorithmic bias as some of the constraints and hurdles to AI adoption in the banking sector. The results demonstrate that AI has the potential to significantly improve risk management methods, but there are numerous technological, ethical, and regulatory hurdles to jump before AI is completely deployed. As the financial sector becomes more data-driven, it is essential that institutions get guidance on how to effectively incorporate AI into risk management strategies in order to guarantee increased accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
